Best of International Student Animation

A student animation programme does not mean amateur animation. Far from it. But because animated film-making is still a fairly underfinanced field, school is the best place for experimentation and self-discovery, testing one’s mettle and executing crazy ideas, as a result of which – believe it or not – student films can often seem fresher and more full of life than the masterworks from more established major studios.

This programme was put together from the vanguard of world student animated films, including some deemed worthy of competition programmes.
