High-End Visual Effects for Commercials at Glassworks-Markus Lauterbach (UK)

* In cooperation with FMX.

In this talk Glassworks Senior 3D Artists Markus Lauterbach and Rüdiger Kaltenhäuser will discuss the challenges of creating high-end visual content for commercials in a very small timeframe. They will outline the importance of Animatics and Previz techniques to enhance your production workflow and show how different projects evolve from the first concept drawing to a finished television commercial. This will include demonstrations of in-house face tracking tools, shading pipelines and artistic approaches, which helped enormously to form strong relationships with directors and clients. Founded in 1996 by CEO Hector Macleod, Glassworks was launched as a modern post-production facility supplying high-end digital animation and visual effects expertise for the production of creative content, from award-winning commercials to film, promos and digital material.
